Cloud Architect
Location: Remote Cloud Architect Location: Remote Level: Senior (7+ years experience) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role: We're looking for a visionary Cloud Architect to design and lead the implementation of scalable, secure cloud solutions for our enterprise clients. You will drive architectural decisions, ensure best practices in cloud deployments, and mentor technical teams in cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities: - Design end-to-end cloud solutions using AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform - Develop cloud migration strategies for legacy systems and applications - Create detailed architecture diagrams and technical documentation - Establish cloud governance policies and security frameworks - Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost, and reliability - Lead architecture review boards and make technology recommendations - Collaborate with DevOps and security teams on implementation - Stay updated on latest cloud technologies and industry trends - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of cloud architecture and infrastructure experience - Advanced certifications from major cloud providers (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or GCP Professional) - Deep expertise in at least one major cloud platform - Strong understanding of networking, security, and compliance - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM) - Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Multiple cloud certifications across different platforms - Experience with AI/ML services and big data architectures - Background in financial services or highly regulated industries - Open source project contributions - Speaking engagements or published technical content Compensation & Benefits: - Highly competitive salary commensurate with experience - Remote work flexibility - Professional certification and training budget - Performance bonuses and equity - Comprehensive health and wellness benefits - Executive coaching and mentorship opportunities
